The Premier Bride Expo “Masquerade Ball” was held on February 21^st 2021 at the Renaissance Resort at World Golf Village in St. Augustine Florida.  It was our 3^rd Premier Bride Expo during the COVID 19 season and it was a success!  Times are different but couples are still getting engaged, weddings are still being planned and people are still getting married.  Things might look and feel a little different but we just have to learn to adjust!

Our expos are smaller then the pre-covid days but they still offer a great show with wonderful, local vendors who are excited to help couples plan their big day.  During COVID 19, many of our corporate partnerships and businesses with employees who attend the expos on behalf of the company have had to take come time off of exhibiting.  We are eagerly waiting for them to return soon so the expo world can return back to normal! 

This expo had over 70 amazing vendors that brought their A game on their booth decors!  Just like all of our expos we have vendors who represent; wedding reception venues, photography, caterers, DJ’s, décor and rentals, invitations, wedding gowns, bridesmaid dresses, grooms attire, cakes & sweets, beaty, health and fitness, wedding officiants, florists, videographers, photo booths, home services and so much more! 

We snapped a few photos on our iPhone to highlight some of the booths at the expo this weekend.  These photos give vendors an idea of how people deign their booth space and gives couples an idea of what to expect when you come to the Premier Bride Expo!

For over 20 years, Premier Bride magazine has been in the Northeast Florida market.  In conjunction with the magazine, we have been producing The Premier Bride Expos….Northeast PREMIER Wedding Expo.  The great thing you can depend on when you attend the Premier Bride Expo is the quality of the wedding vendors that will be at each one of our shows.  It is our goal to make sure that each wedding vendor is a true wedding professional that is respected in their category. 

Since 2012 The Premier Bride Expo has been hosting shows at the Renaissance Resort at World Golf Village.  Since then, we have done two show a year, one in the winter, typically in February and then again in the fall, mostly in September. 

We hope that if you are planning a wedding or a special event that you come to show and meet vendors face to face in a friendly environment. 

Since COVID 19 we have been taking special cautions to ensure the safety of our vendors and attendees.  Our first line of defense is to ask that if anyone is sick that they stay home and not attend the show.  Remember, we have online resources that can also help you plan; www.PremierBrideFlorida.com and www.PremierBrideExpo.com.  We can simply exchange your tickets for the upcoming show, just email us your order number.  Second, we encourage the use of masks for everyone.  Third, we have all of our booths spaced out so each vendor only has one neighbor with lots of aisle in-between.  Fourth, we have a timed ticketed entry time for all of our attendees.  This is simply based on the last name.  This allows more space between people coming and helps eliminates the large crowds that come at the beginning of the show.  Fifth, we offer green beads to attendees.  These green beads tell our vendors that you want more space and for them to keep a reasonable distance.  Sixth, we have thermomotors for temperature checks.  Seventh, we are not having the large prize drawings for the GENERAL RAFFEL at the end of the show.  All winners will be drawn (based on people registering online), before the show starts.  You can check with Footloose Entertainment to see if you have won.  Any unclaimed prizes will be MAILED to the winners.  Many vendors handle their own prizes or give-a-ways so check with them at their booths for details. 

For nearly 10 years the Premier Bride Expo has been hosting wedding expos at the Renaissance Resort at World Golf Village.  Each year two events are hosted, typically in February and September.  For one Sunday afternoon the entire Grand Ballroom is transformed into wedding magic.  Over one hundred professional wedding vendors create amazing displays that showcase their best work for couples to admire.  The décor companies go all out with over the top displays, the catering companies bring their favorite dishes to sample, the bridal salons bring the latest dresses and fashion, the florist bring unique arrangements, the DJ’s set up their booths and show off the latest trends in music, the cake bakers bring samples, the photographers bring their albums, the travel agents bring brochures of the best resorts, and so much more! 

All couples receive swag bags when they enter so they can collect information at the show.  There are many prizes and give-a-ways to be won  so make sure you pre-register online!

Tickets are available online for $8 or $12 at the door on the day of the event.

How are we keeping everyone safe during the COVID 19 global pandemic?

·         Masks are recommended for all vendors and attendees

·         Temperature checks are being taken for all wedding vendors and attendees

·         Vendor booths spaces are spaced out with 10 foot aisles surrounding their booths

·         We are asking attendees to space out their entry times based on the bride or groom's last name, whichever is listed first on the registration form.  Every couple will receive a swag bag no matter what time your come to the show.  Doors are open 1-4 pm, space out the time you come to help minimize crowds. 

• Bride or Groom A-F: arrive between 1:00 and 1:15 pm
• Bride or Groom G-L: arrive between 1:15 and 1:30 pm
• Bride or Groom M-R: arrive between 1:30 and 1:45 pm
• Bride or Groom S-Z: arrive between 1:45 and 2:00 pm
• Or, arrive after 2:00 pm - you will have plenty of time to visit with the exhibitors!

·         Prizes and give-a-ways will be available for pick up at the expo but you do not have to be present to win!  We will mail everyone their prizes if their name is selected from pre-registered couples. Please note that ONLY pre-registered couples will win prizes drawn from the emcee booth. 

·         Food is being served for sampling in complacence with CDC guidelines

·         Green beads are being passed out to attendees upon request.  Green beads represent that you are very cautious of social distancing practices and wish that people respect your space

·         Hand sanitizing stations are placed around the expo floor

We ask that everyone who attends the expo only comes if you are feeling in good health.  We have to be socially responsible and stay home if you are experiencing any symptoms associated with COVID 19 or other contagious illnesses.
